the smallest bit of color looks brilliant against snow, against ice. my eyes are being drawn to these splashes of pigment on a white wintery landscape canvas. making me think of possibility. of new beginnings.

i so adore the red mailbox!
around here the world appears to be brown and gray/taupe. dreary but i know spring will be here before i realize the weeks have passed.
Beautiful photography. I especially love the last one with the reflection. This is "real" snow. I just posted some photos from our rare yet beautiful snow in the desert. There was just something beautiful I found with the colors of the desert draped in white. I love what you said about new beginnings...I like to think that our Vegas snow was that same beautiful reminder for me...I needed that.
so beautiful- i am always inspired by the beauty i find here.
I seriously need to Maine up on my list of places to go... it's on the list, but not near the top...I must I must... xo
