opening up inside






the smallest bit of color looks brilliant against snow, against ice. my eyes are being drawn to these splashes of pigment on a white wintery landscape canvas. making me think of possibility. of new beginnings.

around here the world appears to be brown and gray/taupe. dreary but i know spring will be here before i realize the weeks have passed.

Beautiful photography. I especially love the last one with the reflection. This is "real" snow. I just posted some photos from our rare yet beautiful snow in the desert. There was just something beautiful I found with the colors of the desert draped in white. I love what you said about new beginnings...I like to think that our Vegas snow was that same beautiful reminder for me...I needed that.
