time in a bottle

i always want to remember the tender expressions that are uniquely theirs;

to capture them and hold them in my heart and mind as time passes.

to always have the feeling of a full heart -- it brims when they smile at me.

to be with them in this life and the next.

i am my best self because of all of you, my loves.

still life

the sky is bright white this morning
snowflakes are whirling but not sticking
the ground is beginning to warm
my daffies are peeking through
glee:)

i went to the woodpile
to load up the wheelbarrow
filled the wood stove
climbed the stairs
it was so quiet
too quiet for having a 4-yr-old at home today

she was inside her room
fully absorbed at her desk
she turned to me, sparkling, and said,
"Art, mommy ...art!"

sharing:

I am waiting with anticipation for the release of Jenny Doh and Jo Packham's book, Where Women Create: Book of Inspiration. It was a pleasure and thrill to be a part of it. Enjoy a look at this sneak peek video about the publication.

I am so proud of Jenny for her successful launching of Crescendoh! -- the site is brimming with creativity, inspiration, hot products, philanthropy, and more...
